Probably the most famous circuit in the country with its deep sand and demanding hills, Hawkstone Park is an exciting round for riders and spectators. The circuit has been updated in recent years and new roadways have made parking much easier.
MXGB RD2 - Preston Docks MX
The popular sand circuit at Preston Docks made a successful debut in 2015 and is now a regular fixture on the MXGB calendar. The circuit has undergone a few changes to coincide with its British Championship status, making for a fast flowing but physically-demanding circuit.
MXGB RD3 - Lyng
Cadders Hill, Lyng is a natural hillside motocross circuit without too many man made obstacles. Run by the Norwich Viking MCC team, Lyng is a spectacular, physically-demanding venue that has played host to many titanic battles for championship points.
MXGB RD4 - Landrake
Landrake Moto Parc is a fast and flowing circuit, yet also a very technical track. It incorporates old school features such as adverse cambers and natural terrain, combined with man-made jumps and a rhythm section to add to the excitement. The circuit was used for rounds of the British Motocross Championship many years ago with stars of the sport including Dave Thorpe, Tommy Searle and Josh Coppins all enjoying success at Landrake.
MXGB RD5 - Monster Mountain
Monster Mountain is back for the 2026 edition of the British Championship. Built on top of a man made mountain in South Wales, although the circuit has little elevation it has everything else. The spectacular hard pack circuit with large jumps creates some exciting racing. For the 2026 British Championship spectators will be allowed into the middle of the circuit for the first time to really get close to the action.
MXGB RD6 - Canada Heights
Despite its humble beginnings as a campsite for Canadian troops during World War I, Canada Heights in Kent underwent a transformation in 1985, becoming a premier motorcycling destination thanks to support from the Sidcup Club, the Sports Council, and sponsors. Today, the venue hosts various events from local competitions to international races.
